[ARCHIVED] Proposal to Increase Rates Charged for Mental Health Services

download

The Mariposa County Health & Human Services Agency is requesting an adjustment to rates charged for mental health services to reflect the current cost of providing those services. You may review the Mental Health Services Published Charges Effective 7/1/19 to see the proposed new rates.

The existing rates have been in effect since fiscal year 2013/2014.  Staff salaries, benefits, contractor, and operating costs have increased over the last six years requiring a price adjustment.

The County of Mariposa will conduct a Public Hearing and review the proposed rates at the meeting of the Mariposa County Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 9:00 am or as soon thereafter as the item can be heard.

The proposed rates are based on the rates documented in the last completed cost report for fiscal year 2017/2018.  You may review the Backup for Cost Determination to see the supporting documentation for the rate increase.  The actual Cost per Unit in the yellow highlighted cells on line 4 can easily be compared to the current Published Charge per Unit directly below, on line 5. The actual cost per unit (yellow cells) is what we are requesting as our new rates.

This information can also be found on the Mariposa County Health & Human Services web page.
