[ARCHIVED] IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING DEBRIS REMOVAL

IMPORTANT NOTICE

REGARDING DEBRIS REMOVAL

THE MARIPOSA COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT HAS MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH CalEPA AND CalRecycle TO REMOVE HAZARDOUS WASTE AND BURN DEBRIS FROM BURNED OUT PROPERTY AS A RESULT OF THE DETWILER FIRE.

PROPERTY THAT HAS BEEN PARTIALLY CLEARED/CLEANED UP WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM.

If you would like to take advantage of this program to remove fire debris from your property, at no out of pocket cost to you, do not begin clean up. Additionally, because of the possibility that fire debris may contain hazardous waste products it can

not be disposed of in our local landfill. DO NOT attempt to take burn debris to the local landfill.
