The Mariposa County Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) will be presenting its annual Winter 2021 Integrated Pest Management workshop on Thursday, November 18th, 2021 at Mariposa County Fairgrounds, building A.
Are you interested in learning about California Department of Pesticide Regulation regarding laws & regulations pertaining to continuing education and renewal requirements, breakdown of a pesticide label, brush spraying/maintenance of fire breaks, DPRs top 10 violations, non-chemical options for weed control, oak tree management and common diseases, and use of fire for weed management, then come join us for this workshop.
If you need continuing education hours for your California State Department of Pesticide Regulation license or you’re Private Applicator Certification, 6 hours of DPR continuing education credits including 2.5 hours of laws & regulations have been approved.
On-site registration for the workshop will began at 8:00 am and the workshop will run from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
The cost for the workshop is $40 and includes snacks, lunch, and handout materials. Registration is required; please register by Friday, November 12th, 2021.
Please be prepared to show photo identification for admittance to the workshop. Bring a chair cushion for your comfort.
