PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS)

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) is actively monitoring a potentially widespread, strong and dry wind event beginning October 9. PG&E has notified the County that they are expecting to turn off power in and around the Greeley Hill and Lake Don Pedro areas. Approximately 1,800 residents are anticipated to experience a power outage.

Mariposa County and PG&E are working to establish shelters and charging stations in the affected areas. More information will be published here as soon as it is available.

A shelter is being organized at 5043 Broadway Street in Coulterville. The shelter will open at 9 AM on October 9.
