The Facilities maintenance division performs a large variety of duties and maintenance procedures.  We service, construct, and oversee the routine maintenance, repairs, landscaping and grounds keeping as well as all custodial duties of approximately one-hundred-thirty nine (139) buildings, parks, and facilities.

Year round our responsibilities include addressing the needs of all county offices, most community events, the softball leagues, group activities, youth and recreation programs, and Mariposa County tourism.  Our winter months consists of routine general maintenance as well as repairing frozen, broken and damaged water systems, flood control, emergency repair of roof leaks, snow plowing and road maintenance in the Yosemite West subdivision.

The Facilities Division also responds to emergencies when necessary as well as special requests from the Airport, Volunteer Fire Departments, County Fire, Sheriff's Department, Visitors Bureau, Senior Citizens Centers and the Agriculture Department.
