Chief Jackson is a 32 year veteran of the fire service. He is a graduate of the National Fire Academy and a hazmat and rescue specialist. He is Mariposa County Fire Department southern division chief responsible for the Bootjack, Lushmeadows, Ponderosa Basin and Fish Camp fire companies. He is a member of the U.S. Forest Service Central Sierra Management Team.
