Jim Middleton is the deputy fire chief of Mariposa County Fire Department and a 25 year veteran of the fire service. He has a California Chief Officer, Fire Officer Certifications, and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy. He is vice chair of the California Firescope Operation Team and an member the National Fire Protection Association(NFPA)Data Exchange Committee. Jim is also is on the board of directors of the Mariposa County Firesafe Counsel. Among Jim’s current duties are: fire department operations, the county’s fire marshal and the Office of Emergency Services coordinator.
