The purpose of this project is to access the sustainability of additional childcare providers in Mariposa County, and to evaluate/identify the type of childcare businesses, including, but not limited to, in-home providers, local or State-run facilities, independent businesses or corporate (chain) childcare programs, such as Bright Horizons, Kids Kare and more, that could successfully operate in the community. In addition, this project will address the 2019 Needs Assessment that revealed childcare as a priority need in Mariposa County.
