Over the weekend of January 5, 2019, the Mariposa County Recovers website information was merged onto the County’s main website. Users will find that the information and resources are the same but that it is all now displayed in a design that matches the rest of the County’s website.
The goal behind the move is to provide emergency and recovery information faster and more efficiently. It also increases the number of people who can post updates from three to over twenty which reduces the load on staff while ensuring continuity of services.
The recovery information can still be accessed by using the www.MariposaCountyRecovers.org URL.
Users can now also get to the information by clicking on links found under the “Our Community” or “How Do I/Find” categories in the County’s website Mega Menu, by typing www.mariposacounty.org/recovers into the address bar of their browser, or by entering the words “Mariposa County Recovers” using the County website’s search bar.
While the County hopes that the pages will not be needed anytime soon, we suggest that people take a moment to go to the new pages and become familiar with them.
Any suggestions or feedback about the pages should be submitted via the “Website Issue” form (which can be found on the County’s website by clicking on the Concerns & Requests icon at the bottom of each page), or by contacting René LaRoche at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling her at (209) 966-3222.
