Weather Thread Matrix-Week of 11.25.19
On occasion, requests are received from local property owners to establish a "no-spray" zone on road frontage bordering their property. Property owners interested in filing an opt-out/no spray agreement must complete and submit a Roadside Vegetation Control Agreement to the Public Works Department in order to be considered for the opt-out option.

Tree Mortality Mitigation
Over the next several months, Mariposa County Public Works Department will be mitigating tree mortality hazards along County maintained roadways and properties. Working with the assistance of Cal Fire Madera-Mariposa-Merced Unit, the activity of falling trees and the associated cleanup may cause traffic delays and short term road closures, or may require the closure of parks and other properties.
