County Road Conditions

The following sections of roadway will receive Final and Permanent Repairs resulting from damaging flood events the county suffered in the last few years.  The County recently received funding to accomplish permanent repairs to the roads listed below and as such please expect to see repairs accomplished on these sections of roadway as weather permits.

Given the time of year and the potential for adverse weather conditions we recommend that you check this website often in order to get the most up to date road construction schedules.

Common Road Condition Definitions

  • R1: Chains are required - snow tread tires allowed.
  • R2: Chains are required on all vehicles except four wheel drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels.
  • R3: Chains are required - all vehicles - no exceptions.

R1 and R2 are the most common conditions.
