All Mariposa County Roads have opened with the exception of the following roads which will be open to residents only: 

Carter Rd 

Sherlock Rd

Mt Gaines Rd

Number 9 Rd

Holtzel Rd (from Greeley Hill Rd to Millbrow Ln)

Chowchilla Mtn Rd, (dirt portion above Ponderosa Basin)

Oak Rd open- access from Oak Rd Bridge/Hwy 140 side

Best Rd closed at Comet Mine Lane to the last residence on the Mariposa Pines side

Residents driving on ALL county roads please drive with extreme caution. Watch for falling trees, emergency vehicles and work crews in the area. Please treat all powerlines down as if they are live, report any hazards you see by calling 911. Please do not attempt to enter closed areas as hazards remain.

R1: Chains are required - snow tread tires allowed. 

R2: Chains are required on all vehicles except four wheel drive vehicles with snow tires on all four wheels.
